This project is based on an existing tradition in Romanian cultural heritage - the carpet washing. It's a ball of ghosts, but a ball where the ghosts dance slows in an attempt to celebrate the encounter between body and body. An incessant search for the possible connection in this ever-moving world. Holding your hand while we dance and that being more than enough. Not touching you - so that we can find another intimacy. Creating a place where we can share our solitude together, because perhaps that's what love is all about: sharing our solitude with other solitudes.

Este projeto é criado a partir de uma tradição existente no património cultural romeno - a lavagem das carpetes. É um baile de fantasmas, mas um baile onde as fantasmas dançam slows na tentativa de celebrar o encontro corpo com corpo. Uma procura incessante pela conexão possível neste mundo sempre em movimento. Dar-te a mão enquanto dançamos e isso ser mais que o suficiente. Não te tocar - para encontrarmos uma outra intimidade. Criar um lugar onde seja possível partilharmos a nossa solidão em conjunto, pois talvez seja a isso que o amor se resume: partilhar a nossa solidão com outras solidões.
